Research Center Main Thrust

The research center focuses on the development of the Sustainable Electrochemical Development Center with an industry-oriented approach. The two major core development areas are "Battery Storage" and "Hydrogen Conversion" technologies. These are complemented by two foundational scientific technologies, namely "Advanced Material Analysis" and "Theoretical Computational Simulation." The goal is to establish links between critical electrochemical energy materials and green manufacturing technologies in Taiwan. The center aims to strategically position itself in the medium to long term, addressing the talent, knowledge, technology, and regulatory requirements of future societies. Simultaneously, it seeks to contribute to the development of electrochemical energy technologies necessary for achieving net-zero/carbon neutrality. The ultimate ambition is to become an internationally renowned research center with academic leadership and significant contributions to the domestic industry.
