Professor Wang Fu-Min of NTUST's Institute of Applied Science Wins the 2024 Yu-Yang Technology Invention Award in the Green Technology Category
Distinguished Professor Wang Fu-Min of the Institute of Applied Science at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) has dedicated over 20 years to research on batteries and organic materials. By incorporating a newly developed oligomer additive into the cathode material of lithium batteries, he successfully reduces the risk of fires and explosions while maintaining battery performance and lifespan. This innovative contribution has earned him recognition with the 2024 Yu-Yang Technology Invention Award in the Green Technology category.
