Major Contributions
1. Showed that graphene quantum dots (GQD) encode a built-in, localized lattice distortion into a high-entropy Prussian blue analog (HEPBA), turning microstrain into an operando stabilizing function for alkaline hydrogen evolution.
2. In situ XAS and Raman revealed that the pre-built microstrain “locks” the Co–C≡N bridge, suppressing electrolyte-induced coordination disorder and sustaining framework-mediated charge transport; DFT shows more favorable H₂O adsorption and regulated H* energetics.
3. HEPBA/GQD reaches 207 mV at 100 mA cm⁻² in 1.0 M KOH and operates stably at 500 mA cm⁻² for 72 h, establishing microstrain-enabled stabilization as a pathway to robust coordination electrocatalysts.
