On June 17, 2025, The Electrochemical Society (ECS) announced the selection of 12 distinguished scholars as ECS Fellows for the year 2025. Established in 1989, this prestigious honor recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the fields of electrochemistry and solid-state science and technology, as well as significant service to the Society. The newly elected Fellows have demonstrated not only excellence in scientific research but also exceptional leadership and active involvement in ECS activities. Each year, through a rigorous peer-review process, ECS selects up to 15 of the world’s leading scientists and engineers to receive this esteemed recognition.
The induction ceremony for the 2025 ECS Fellows will take place on October 13, 2025, during the 248th ECS Meeting in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Congratulations once again to Professor Hwang!
